Hakim Atoui est un réalisateur Franco-Algérien, né à Annaba. En 2020, il co-réalise le documentaire autoproduit « La Première Marche ». En 2024, il réalise ses premiers courts-métrages : « Adieu Soleil » (Grand Prix au Festival International de Busan 2025 et Mention Spéciale au Festival International de Palm Springs cette même année) et « Les Liens du Sang » (présélectionné aux César 2025). « Douches pour Hommes » est son troisième court-métrage.

Hakim Atoui is a French-Algerian director. In 2020, he co-directed the self-produced documentary “La Première Marche”. In 2024, he directed his first fiction shorts : “Goodbye Sun” (Grand Prix at Busan Int. Film Festival and selected Palm Springs Int. Film Festival 2025) and “Blood Ties” (which was in the 2025 French Cesar Award shortlist). “The Man in the Showers” is his third short.
