Clara Ferrer and Marcella C. De Finis

Director Story

Graduated in Filmmaking by Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil), Clara Ferrer and Marcella C. De Finis co-directed the short films If You Were Dead (2016), Ana’s Home (2017) and Rainpour (2024), always focused on telling stories about the complexities of relationships between women.

Living in Rio de Janeiro, Clara is currently in post-production for her first feature as a writer, Quarto Meninas, which has been selected by the Hubert Bals Fund for Script and Development Support, the Boost NL programme and the HBF + Europe and the NFF + HBF co-production schemes.

Living in Brasilia, De Finis has also directed the short film The Incredible Tale of the Spiritless Man (2019), and currently works as an assistant director, writer and researcher.
