Director Story

Louise Bongartz a obtenu un master en stop-motion au prestigieux BAU Design College de Barcelone, et un master en animation à La Cambre. Avec son film de fin d’études intitulé HEXED, Louise a démontré sa maîtrise technique en utilisant le bois comme matériau pour les marionnettes et les décors, afin d’offrir au film une atmosphère très spéciale. Avec En Mille Pétales, Louise montre sa volonté de mener l’expérimentation du bois et du papier encore plus loin en entrant en contact direct avec la matière pour en extraire une émotion.

Louise Bongartz obtained a master’s degree in stop-motion at the prestigious BAU Design College in Barcelona, and a master’s degree in animation at La Cambre. With her graduation film HEXED, Louise demonstrated her technical mastery by using wood as a material for puppets and sets, to offer the film a very special atmosphere. With En Mille Pétales, Louise shows her will to lead the experimentation of wood and paper even further by coming into direct contact with the material to extract an emotion.
