Nebojša Slijepčević est né en 1973 à Zagreb, en Croatie. Il est diplômé du département réalisation de l’Académie de théâtre et d’arts de Zagreb. Son film documentaire Srbenka (2018) a été présélectionné pour le European Film Award et a remporté de nombreux prix dont le prix du public au festival du film de Sarajevo et la mention spéciale du jury Buyens-Chagoll et a été sélectionné, entre autres, au festival Visions du Réel 2018. Son film Gangster of love (2013) a remporté le prix du public à Zagreb Dox et a été présenté en première internationale à Hot Docs et Karlovy Vary et a été l’un des plus grands succès au box-office en Croatie. Nebojša a réalisé de nombreux documentaires, séries et courts métrages pour la télévision. Il est également chargé de cours à l’Académie des arts dramatiques de Zagreb.

Nebojša Slijepčević was born in 1973 in Zagreb, Croatia. He graduated in Film Directing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. His documentary feature Srbenka (2018) was shortlisted for European Film Awards and won numerous awards at international film festivals, among them the Heart of Sarajevo Award as well as the Audience Award at the Sarajevo Film Festival, and a special mention of the Buyens-Chagoll jury at Visions du Réel 2018. His feature documentary Gangster of Love (2013) won the Audience Award at Zagreb Dox and premiered internationally at Hot Docs and Karlovy Vary. It was one of the biggest box office hits in Croatia. Nebojša directed numerous TV documentaries, series, and short films. He teaches at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.
