Danny Gopnik est auteur-réalisateur de plusieurs courts métrages. En 2014, pendant ses études de cinéma à l’université Paris 8, il réalise « On reprend » sur la spirale infernale d’une comédienne répétant son monologue sur scène. En 2019, il sort « Des feux inexplicables », avec notamment Raphaël Thiéry et qui obtient un prix au Kolkota Film Festival. De 2017 à 2024, il écrit et co-réalise avec Rosalie Loncin la web-série d’animation « Netflim Génération » sur les plateformes vidéo et les nouveaux usages cinéphiles. En 2026, son nouveau court métrage « A vue d’œil » a remporté un prix d’interprétation au festival Paris Courts Devant.

Danny Gopnik is a writer-director of several short films. In 2014, while studying film at Paris 8 University, he directed “On reprend”, about the downward spiral of an actress rehearsing her monologue on stage. In 2019, he released “Des feux inexplicables”, notably featuring Raphaël Thiéry, which won an award at the Kolkata Film Festival. From 2017 to 2024, he wrote and co-directed with Rosalie Loncin the animated web series “Netflim Génération”, focusing on video platforms and new cinephile practices. In 2026, his new short film “A vue d’œil” won a Best Performance award at Paris Courts Devant film festival.
