ALEXANDRE SINGH est un artiste visuel basé à Brooklyn, né à Bordeaux, en France, de parents indiens et français. Il a grandi à Manchester, au Royaume-Uni, avant d’étudier les beaux -arts à l’Université d’Oxford, au Royaume-Uni. Le travail de Singh est inspiré par l’amour de la narration imaginative. Englobant des pratiques aussi diverses que l’écriture, le collage, l’installation et la performance, son travail est représenté dans de nombreuses collections privées et publiques, notamment au Museum of Modern Art, New York ; au Solomon R . Guggenheim Museum, New York ; et au Centre national des arts plastiques, Paris.
En 2013, la pièce de théâtre de Singh, The Humans, a été jouée au Rotterdamse Schouwburg, à  otterdam, et à la Brooklyn Academy of Music, à New York, avant de voyager au Festival d’Avignon, en France, en 2014. En 2019, Singh a réalisé son premier court-métrage, THE APPOINTMENT, qui a été présenté pour la première fois au Legion of Honor Museum, à San Francisco, dans le cadre de son exposition personnelle A Gothic Tale, puis a été joué au PÖFF Shorts, à Louvain, et au Bogo Shorts, parmi de nombreux autres. TW O PEOPLE EX CHANGING SALIVA, avec Zar Amir , Luàna Bajr ami et Vicky Krieps, est son deuxième film.

Singh’s work is inspired by a love of imaginativestorytelling.
