Director Story

Anthony Bajon naît en avril 1994 à Villeneuve-Saint-Georges. Il apparaît devant la caméra pour la première fois sous la direction de Léa Fehner dans Les Ogres, en 2016. En 2018, il accède à la consécration avec le rôle de Thomas dans La Prière de Cédric Kahn. Sa performance est récompensée par l’Ours d’argent du meilleur acteur à la Berlinale 2018 et une nomination au César du meilleur espoir masculin 2019. En 2023, il concrétise son rêve d’enfance et réalise son premier court-métrage en tant que réalisateur, « La grande ourse ».

Anthony Bajon was born in April 1994 in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, in France. He appeared on screen for the first time in Léa Fehner’s Les Ogres, in 2016. In 2018, he achieved recognition with the role of Thomas in Cédric Kahn’s La Prière. His performance was rewarded with the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 2018 Berlinale and a nomination for the 2019 César. In 2023, he made his childhood dream come true and directed his first short film as a director : “The Big Dipper”.
