Américains basés à Paris, Brennan Gerard et Ryan Kelly ont développé une identité artistique à la frontière de la danse et de l’art contemporain. Leur pratique pluridisciplinaire, entre installation et performance, intègre la vidéo, l’écriture, la chorégraphie, le dessin ou encore la sculpture. Leur travail explore le potentiel critique de l’intimité pour opérer un changement social radical. Les collaborations musicales – avec les artistes Solange, SOPHIE, Lucky Dragons et Moses Sumney – ont été au coeur de leurs récents projets. Le travail de Gerard & Kelly a été présenté internationalement dans des biennales d’art et d’architecture, des festivals et des musées. Leurs oeuvres sont présentes dans les collections des musées en France et aux États-Unis.
