Director Story
Emma Holzapfel, née en 2000, a découvert sa passion pour le cinéma dès la petite enfance grâce au théâtre. Pour acquérir plus d’expérience, elle effectue des stages sur des plateaux de tournage pendant ses années d’études et développe des courts métrages. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme en 2018, elle a travaillé comme assistante réalisatrice sur diverses productions cinématographiques internationales. Depuis 2020, elle étudie le montage à la Filmakademie de Ludwigsburg. Parallèlement à ses études, elle travaille comme monteuse indépendante et monte des courts métrages, des publicités et des documentaires. En 2022, elle étudie à « La Femis » à Paris grâce à une bourse de la Fondation Baden-Wurtemberg.
Emma Holzapfel, born in 2000, discovered her passion for filmmaking in early childhood through acting. To gain more experience, she completed internships on film sets during her school years and developed short films as part of school. After graduating from high school in 2018, she worked as an assistant director on various international film productions. Since 2020 she has been studying editing at the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg. Alongside her studies, she works as a freelance editor and edits short films, commercials and documentaries. In 2022, she is studying at “La Femis” in Paris on a scholarship from the Baden-Württemberg Foundation.
