Irene Corts Curto

Director Story

Irene Corts Curto is a director and assistant director born in Riudoms (Catalonia, Spain), who currently lives in Barcelona (Spain). In 2020 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fundamental Physics at the Universitat de Barcelona, but in 2022 she changed her career path, turning to cinema. “Polaroid” is her first short film as a screenwriter and director, developed as part of the Film Directing course at the Escola de Cinema de Barcelona (ECIB). She has participated as an intern assistant director in the feature film “La Furia”, produced by Ringo Media, and is currently part of the directing team of a Netflix series. Her next short film is currently in development.
