Je suis autrice et réalisatrice de documentaires.
J’ai suivi un cursus en sciences humaines et sociales orienté vers le cinéma, avec une étude dédiée au cinéaste bulgare Slatan Dudow connu pour son film Kuhle Wampe (Ventres Glacés, 1932).
J’ai ensuite rejoint le milieu de la création contemporaine. J’ai participé à la conception et à la mise en œuvre de projets artistiques avant de me dédier à plein temps à mes activités de réalisation. Mes projets touchent à l’intimité et à l’identité. J’y accorde une place centrale aux femmes binaires ou non.
Kubra est mon premier court-métrage documentaire.
Je suis actuellement sur le développement de mon film documentaire Mon corps, ce pays (Respiro Productions) avec lequel je suis sélectionnée pour participer à l’atelier « Concevoir un projet documentaire » à la Fémis en 2019, et pour lequel j’ai reçu le Prix du meilleur pitch FIPADOC 2021. Kubra sera également l’une des protagonistes de ce film.
Par ailleurs, j’ai été nominée en octobre dernier pour le Prix COAL 2019 pour mon roman graphique co-écrit avec Claire Malary, Le désert d’Ata, qui paraîtra aux éditions Actes Sud l’An 02 le 7 avril 2021.
I am an author and director of documentaries.
I followed a course in human and social sciences about cinema, with a study devoted to the Bulgarian filmmaker Slatan Dudow known for his film Kuhle Wampe (Ventres Glacés, 1932).
Then I joined the contemporary creation’s world. I have participated in the design and implementation of artistic projects before dedicating myself full time to my production activities. My projects touch on privacy and identity. I give a central place to women, binary or not.
Kubra is my first short documentary.
I am currently working on the development of my documentary : Mon corps, ce pays (Respiro Productions) with which I have been chosen to participate in the workshop “Conceering a documentary project” at Fémis school in 2019, and for which I received the Prize for the best FIPADOC pitch in 2021. Kubra will also be one of the protagonists of this film.
In addition, I was nominated last October for the 2019 COAL Prize for my graphic novel co-written with Claire Malary, Le desert d’Ata, which will be published by Actes Sud Year 02 on April 7, 2021.
