Director Story

Thomas Chimer est auteur et réalisateur. Né en 1987 à Nice, il explore de nombreux univers professionnels et artistiques avant d’intégrer les métiers du cinéma. Il réalise en 2020 son premier court-métrage À L’ORIGINE, et retourne à la réalisation en 2022 avec PRISE UNE. Ses thèmes de prédilection sont la famille, l’échec et l’imposture. En parallèle de la réalisation, il est également comédien, monteur et musicien. Il vit aujourd’hui entre Paris et Lyon, où il développe plusieurs projets cinématographiques et musicaux.

Thomas Chimer is an author and filmmaker. Born in 1987 in Nice, he explored various professional and artistic fields before entering the film industry. In 2020, he directed his first short film, À L’ORIGINE, which was awarded at Kino Lyon. He returned to directing in late 2022 with PRISE UNE, produced by Methodic Studio. His favorite themes include family, failure, and imposture. In addition to directing, he is also an actor, editor, and musician. He currently lives between Paris and Lyon, where he is developing several film and music projects.
