Un jeune enfant, Malik (14 ans), se sent étranger en Suède après que sa famille a fui l’Irak pour s’y installer. Lorsque Saddam Hussein est capturé par l’armée américaine, la famille décide de rentrer en Irak, ce qui rend Malik enthousiaste car il pourra enfin se sentir chez lui. Cependant, peu de temps après leur arrivée, Malik commence à ressentir le même sentiment d’étrangeté qu’il avait éprouvé en Suède. 

A young child, Malik (14), feels like a foreigner in Sweden after their family has fled there from Iraq. When Saddam Hussein is captured by the American military, the family decides to move back to Iraq, which makes Malik thrilled because now he can finally feel at home. But shortly upon arriving Malik starts experiencing the same feeling of foreignness as he did in Sweden.
