Au coeur du maquis, Bertrand, un apiculteur solitaire, fait naître une reine susceptible de sauver sa petite exploitation. Mais bientôt, l’abeille tant attendue disparaît et son monde s’effondre. Aidé par sa collègue Macha, il se lance à sa recherche.

In the middle of the maquis, Bertrand, a solitary beekeeper, gives birth to a queen bee likely to save his small farm. But soon, the long-awaited bee disappears and his world collapses. Helped by his colleague Macha, he sets out to find her.
