Director Story

Jeune réalisateur de 28 ans d’origine polonaise et tunisienne, Luca Lellouche puise son inspiration dans ses récits familiaux qui marque profondément son enfance. Dès son jeune âge, il ressent le désir de partager et d’universaliser cet héritage à travers le cinéma, en racontant des histoires qui résonnent avec son vécu. Après des études de cinéma à Londres, diplômé de l’University Arts of London (LCC), il rentre à Paris et expérimente la réalisation à travers de nombreux clips (Basile Palace, Kids Return, Please…). Il travaille surtout en Super 16 et mini DV. C’est en parallèle de ces nombreuses réalisations qu’il écrit ses fictions, seul et en collaborant avec Aurore Levy, diplômée du Théâtre National de Strasbourg. Il co-écrit, réalise et co-produit « Mensch » avec Anaïde Rozam en rôle principal. Il développe actuellement son premier long métrage.

A young 28-year-old director of Polish and Tunisian descent, Luca Lellouche draws his inspiration from his family narratives that deeply mark his childhood. From a young age, he feels the desire to share and universalize this heritage through cinema, by telling stories that resonate with his own experiences. After studying film in London, graduating from the University Arts of London (LCC), he returns to Paris and experiments with directing through numerous music videos (Basile Palace, Kids Return, Please…). He mainly works with Super 16 and mini DV formats. It is alongside these many projects that he writes his own fiction, both alone and in collaboration with Aurore Levy, a graduate of the National Theatre of Strasbourg. He co-writes, directs, and co-produces “Mensch” with Anaïde Rozam in the lead role. He is currently developing his first feature film.
