Director Story

Frédéric Bélier-Garcia est metteur en scène de théâtre et d’opéra, mais aussi coscénariste des films de Nicole Garcia L’Adversaire, Selon Charlie, Un balcon sur la mer (tous trois en sélection officielle au Festival de Cannes). Il a aussi travaillé́ avec Brigitte Rouän, Éric Rochant, Emmanuel Bourdieu, Samir Guesmi…

En 2022, il écrit et réalise son premier court-métrage Le Dogsitter (avec au casting Samir Guesmi), sélectionné en compétition nationale au Festival de court-métrage de Clermont-Ferrand, et diffusé sur France 2.

Il réalise en 2023 un second court-métrage préacheté par Canal +, Toute Sortie Est Définitive, interprété par Stéphane Roger.

In 2022, he wrote and directed his first short film Le Dogsitter (starring Samir Guesmi), selected in national competition at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, and broadcast on France 2.

In 2023, he directed a second short film, Toute Sortie Est Définitive (Mind the gap), pre-selled by Canal +.
