“ Guil Sela est un jeune artiste né en 1996. Il réside en France depuis son enfance. Après avoir pris quelques années à se remettre de sa découverte du saucisson, il se consacre désormais pleinement à ses activités de cinéaste et de photographe. En 2022, il tourne La Flamme Olympique, son premier film, sélectionné dans divers festivals (Cannes WIP, Cinema Jove, Edimburg, Izmir…).  En 2023 il tourne Santa Maria Kyoko, et Montsouris Park, un drame et une comédie, ou c’est peut-être bien l’inverse. Il travaille en ce moment à la préparation de No skate!, son nouveau court-métrage et au développement de A Comedy about Life & Death, son premier long métrage, deux films qui continueront d’explorer avec humour et mélancolie l’ironie qui se cache derrière nos tragiques actualités. “

Guil Sela is a young artist born in 1996, and resident of France since childhood. He now dedicates himself wholeheartedly to his pursuits as a writer-director and photographer. His debut film, “La Flamme Olympique,” earned selections at the WIP of the Cannes Film Festival, Cinema Jove, Edinburgh, and more. In 2023, he embarked on the filming of “Santa Maria Kyoko” and “Montsouris Park,” a drama and a comedy, or perhaps the other way around. Simultaneously, he is engaged in craxing a new short film and his inaugural feature-length work—both projects aim to continue his exploration, infused with humor and melancholy, into the irony that underlies our tragic daily lives.
